Some of you on here are very close to me and already know of the hard time I’m facing. I'm reaching out to the rest of you, the artists on here i love and chat with sometimes, the people who have me on there watch list and always comment on my art and give me great advice....

My dog Xander, a Doberman Pinscher, (You’ve probably seen pics of him in my gallery.) About a week ago ended up in the hospital while I was at work. I got a call from my mother telling me that he was sick and not acting right. He was in the hospital for a week with anemia. And 3 blood transfusions later we found out he has a disease common in Dobies called Dilated Cardiomyopathy. It's a disease of the heart muscle, it becomes deformed and beats rapidly usually resulting in cardiac arrest. He also has a very rare blood disease and now they have to cross match blood to use on him for another transfusion...But we can't find a donor so he's going off synthetic blood right now which is really beating the crap out of his heart. He's also on pills, they could save his life but they aren't working right now. And if they don't work in a few days I have to put my dog down. And the thought of it is ripping my heart to shreds. Xander is the love of my life, he was a Christmas present 3 years ago when he was just 4 months old. And I’ve loved him unconditionally ever since. He's still in the hospital as I type this because his body is becoming so weak due to lack of blood. The reason why I’m reaching out to people here on DA is because not only is this a complete emotional struggle on me, But it is also financially. It's bad enough trying to put food on the table and get bills paid, but me and my parents are doing everything we can to scrape money together to pay for Xander's hospital bills and medicine. His pills alone cost $162 for a two week supply and the hospital bill is already over $6,000. This is why I’m asking for help. If any of you could help me out with this I will be so so so thankful. Even a dollar will help me out with this. Anything you can give will help me get his pills filled and bills paid. And if you can't do this please just say a prayer for my dog. Whatever you choose to do I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I know my dog will be thankful too.
